52 Now they were all[a] wailing and mourning[b] for her, but he said, “Stop your weeping; she is not dead but asleep!” 53 And they began making fun[c] of him, because they knew[d] that she was dead.[e] 54 But Jesus[f] gently took her by the hand and said,[g] “Child, get up.”
